The policy allows class overlaps under specific conditions: overlaps are only permitted after trimester 4, can involve no more than two hours per week, and cannot include pre-requisite courses. Students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher must submit a written request to the Registrar specifying the courses involved. If eligible, a Learning Contract, signed by the course instructors and outlining the learning outcomes and assessment methods for the missed class hours, must be submitted. The request is reviewed and decided upon, and the decision is communicated to all parties involved. The policy ensures that academic standards are maintained while accommodating necessary course overlaps.
